Worship/Music Ministry Help Palouse Federated Church is an interdenominational community church in Palouse, WA. Our community values worship, spiritual growth, service and witness. We are looking for a person who is called to be a part of a small town/rural community church seeking to develop its worship and music ministry. Qualifications and Skills: – Christian faith background and a desire to help lead the local church in worship of God. Candidates who apply should have solid personal integrity. – Good communication skills – Piano/keyboard (other instruments a plus!) – Ability to develop a youth worship band (instruments and vocals) Responsibilities are to include: – Playing piano at least once a month on Sunday mornings in Palouse – Developing a youth worship band to eventually have a weekly Wednesday night worship service. – Playing piano at least once a month on Sunday afternoons in Pullman Pay: – Expected pay of $22-30 per hour depending on experience. – Schedule will be to be negotiated with the employee. – Hours will likely be 5-10 per week to start. – We would like the employee to be an integrated member of the church community and be present in worship and church life. – The position could increase over time, depending on the needs of the ministry and the abilities of the candidate.
