ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Worship Pastor will support and coordinate with the Lead Pastor to ensure that worship ministries of the church are conducted in a way that lead to the strengthening and growth of the church.

The Worship Pastor is administratively and operationally accountable to the Lead Pastor in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Inspire, develop, and lead a choir, praise teams, orchestras, instrumental ensembles, and bands that will lead worship at public worship gatherings.
• Plan, develop, and host regular worship events to promote a spirit of worship in the church.
• Help arrange and provide music for weddings, funerals, church events, and other activities as needed.
• Work with the prayer ministry to ensure that prayer is an integral part of all ministries of the church.
• Lead, support, and coordinate worship arts, technical capacities, and promotional methods of church.
• As an associate pastor, participate in helping the staff lead, coordinate, develop, oversee the ten processes of the church, and provide pastoral care for members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
