Worship & Youth Ministry Director
Principle Functions and Goals:
The Worship/Youth Director will serve the church by working with the pastor and the Youth and Children's Committees. This combined position will be to lead the worship ministry, and oversee the youth and children's programs, special projects, assignments, and events.
Personal Qualifications:
The person in this position must be a born-again Christian of like faith and order who is motivated and energetic in service to the Lord. The individual shall meet the educational and experience levels which the church feels are necessary to successfully meet the demands of the position. Individuals should possess the personality, temperament, and interpersonal skills needed to relate and serve effectively within a multi-generational setting as well as a strong work ethic.
Duties and responsibilities:
Along with working with the ministerial staff, appropriate committees, and program leaders in planning, evaluating, and coordinating all worship and student ministries of the Church, other duties would include:
Maintain a schedule for regular Youth/Children's Committee meetings
Develop a mentor role model relationship with Church students
Develop an annual financial plan for worship and student programs
Lead discipleship activities for students.
Work with the proper committees to provide youth and children's activities such as fellowships, retreats, camps, and mission opportunities.
Hours and Salary/Benefits:
This position will be classified as a full-time, salaried employee offering a competitive salary that is consistent with compensation relative to assigned responsibilities submitted and approved by the Stewardship Committee and the Church. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
