Youth and Worship Pastor

Job Overview

As the Associate Pastor or Director of Youth Ministry, your primary focus will be making disciples of students (7th-12thgrade) who will in turn make disciples.  This will include introducing youth to Jesus Christ, helping them grow spiritually, training them to serve others, and training them to disciple others.  You will assist parents in fostering spiritual, emotional, physical, and moral health in their children.

                – Help youth discover their clear identity in Christ.

                – Prepare them for the challenges they will face.                                                                                       – Help develop their God-given gifts and talents, not only in ministry setting but in every aspect of life.                                                                                                                                          – Lead the charge in reaching students of Pipestone and the surrounding community with the relevant and worthy truth of the Gospel.

  • You must humbly understand you are not a finished product. Your own growth is vital for the health and growth of those in your care.  Your primary purpose in life is not ministry to others but rather to bring God glory in all that you are.

  • While your primary focus will be youth and parents, you will have a less formal secondary expectation to love and minister to all ages in our church family and community.
