ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and coordinate the Sunday Morning Middle School classes, weekly youth gatherings, and periodic outreach events targeting youth and children at Veritas Community Church Tri-City.
• Faithfully teach the gospel and facilitate Bible studies and discussions for the youth
• Train and oversee volunteers to serve at all youth ministry classes, events, and activities
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for youth gatherings, in accordance with Veritas policies and procedures
• Build relationships with students and their families to encourage spiritual growth
• Assist in selecting and preparing teaching materials and curriculum
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates and resources for family discipleship
• Participate in church-wide events and initiatives that involve youth

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong commitment to Christian faith and alignment with Veritas Community Church's theological beliefs
• Proven ability to connect with and disciple youth
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to be trained and mentored in ministry leadership
• Previous experience in youth ministry is preferred but not required
• Applicant may be subject to a Theological Assessment
