Chapel Hill Bible Church is looking for a Youth Minister to lead and serve our youth in knowing and loving Jesus. We desire to see teenagers in our church grow in their Christian maturity and reach their lost friends with the transforming message of the gospel.

Our church is a diverse community that attracts people from five different counties. Our middle and high school students attend various types of schools including public, private, home school, and some dual enrollment in college. They also come from various socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. These dynamics present challenges and opportunities in growing a community that is centered around the word of God and that expresses and experiences deep love for one another.

Our next Youth Minister must be a able to skillfully navigate these differences while leading our youth to fix their eyes on Jesus! The Youth Minister must be able to engage relationally with teenagers, with adult leaders, and with parents alike, leading a ministry that is both fun and formative.

Chapel Hill Bible Church has a membership of approximately 600 individuals with over 1,000 people being part of our community. Our youth ministry is currently comprised of 23 volunteers and about 100 youth.

• Demonstrated ability to attract, develop and equip leaders
• Proven administrative and organizational skills
• Preferably has at least 2-3 years experience leading a youth ministry or a significant portion of a multi-staff youth ministry
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

• Develop, articulate, and implement a vision and for youth ministry and the resulting strategy and programs.
• Lead, train, direct, disciple, and supervise youth ministry volunteers.
• Shepherd youth and their families and include ministry opportunities for families.
• Lead and direct the Sunday School experience for youth in the church, including developing/curating teaching curriculum and leaders.
• Coordinate youth missions opportunities.
• Disciple individuals (both youth and volunteers) on a regular basis, including providing crisis intervention and counseling.
• Develop and oversee the youth ministry budget.
• Develop and lead other youth gatherings and events including weekend retreats, special events, and parent/family events integrating with the broader CHBC vision, priorities, and calendar.
