First Baptist Church of Mossy Head in DeFuniak Springs, Florida is seeking a man burdened by God with a desire to lead our ministry to the youth in our church and community with the dual goal of nurturing spiritual growth and evangelizing the lost among our students. This is a volunteer position offering no compensation, though we will gladly reimburse travel and ministry expenses. We are not currently in a financial position to support a paid ministry position, but we are trusting that the Lord will both burden and equip His man for this work. As the ministry grows and circumstances change, the church is eager to revisit the topic of ministerial support.

We are a medium-sized Baptist church in a rural area committed to standing on Biblical inspiration and authority. A qualified candidate will possess a testimony of an experience of salvation by grace through faith, demonstrable gifts for biblical teaching and ministry to students, and doctrinal alignment with the church's understanding of biblical truth. It is not specifically required that one be licensed or ordained. It is expected that one who feels led to serve the church shall also be led to covenant with the church in membership.
