Qualifications

• Meets the biblical qualificationsSeminary training and 3+ years of ministry experience preferred
• Adheres to Calvinism, Complementarianism, and “9Marks ecclesiology”
• Ability to work on a team towards specific goals in a mutually edifying and supportive manner
• Ability to work on multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with little supervision
• Commitment to and agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Maintain regular office hours and be on-the-job 40 plus hours per week
• Committed to life-long learning

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Do the work of ministry: reach, teach, disciple, counsel, train, marry, bury.
• Oversee the student ministry team by teaching, overseeing a rotation of teachers, and developing leaders to disciple students.
• Equip members to be the primary disciple-makers of their children.
• Facilitate summer camp, D-Now, spring break mission trip, occasional fun events.
• Build a culture of discipleship and counseling – push, promote, facilitate ACBC training.
• Be intimately involved in the administration of our membership process.
• Help build out a Residency/Internship program to develop leaders.
• Assist the Lead Pastor as needs arise and available to perform other duties as assigned by the elders.
