JOB DETAILS

We will spend time on all of the following areas:

• – Personal Growth and Training – walk with God, ministry priorities, strengths /

  weaknesses, gifting

• – Preaching / Teaching – study habits, sermon prep, assessment – you will teach

  Scriptures at least twice per month. One Sunday and one Wednesday each month.

• – Spiritual Outreach – Spend time with students, welcome visitors, develop gospel-

  centered relationships

• – Discipleship / Bible Studies – Prepare and lead a weekly Bible study and help students

  follow the Lord Jesus Christ, pray regularly for the students and their parents, and pray

  with them.

• – Leadership & Management – Work with the volunteer youth staff to coordinate

  opportunities for worshiping God, reaching out, growing, and serving.

• – Miscellaneous – Plan, lead, assist, etc. with our various meeting times, activities, and

  projects

• – Music Ministry – depending on your gifting, you may serve on our worship team for the

  students.

  Serving in vocational ministry involves people, planning, and projects. Expect to spend your time on all three of these types of work.

This position is for those eager to respond to God's call into vocational ministry. You will be a valuable member of the team serving our church's youth as ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In this role, you will gain experience in all aspects of student ministries. You will serve a vital role in our ministry by Ministering to students, preparing gospel centered lessons, teaching the Holy Scriptures, planning enriching events, and completing kingdom focused projects all for the glory of God and the spiritual edification of the church's students. You may baptize students if they request that you be the baptizing minister, under the supervision of Pastor Jason Wood. You will be ministering in nearly all aspects of pastoral ministry.
