The ECPC Student Ministries Summer Intern program exists to train and disciple college aged interns as they assist in forming mature disciples within our student ministry. 2 Timothy 2:2 reminds us that on-going discipleship is essential for the growth of the church and the spreading of the gospel. Summer interns will gain valuable experience and training in the practical "hands on work" of youth ministry as they learn to steward their spiritual gifts and abilities. We are looking for men and women who love God, love His church, and the lost among us.

The Summer Staff is made up of college-aged adults who are committed to Christ and His kingdom initiative by ministering to the youth of East Cobb Presbyterian Church in Marietta, GA. We are looking to hire two high school internsand two middle school interns. Applicants must complete their freshman year of college during the time of their summer internship to qualify, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. As you prayerfully consider a ministry position at ECPC, understand that expectations to fulfill your internship are reasonably high. Being said, this is a full-time commitment. Your schedule is taken with the upmost priority. Flexibility can be made with requests for days off, but those requests are not always guaranteed.

The internship start date is dependent on intern availability but expect a start date the week of May 18th. This internship end date is on Friday, July 26th. As a full-time position, its recommendedthat you do not workotherpart-time jobs (unless previously discussed in interview process). You will receive compensation every other week totaling $2500 for the summer, plus free housing hosted by a church family should you need it, and several hundred dollars for contact expenses with students as well as trips, activities, and events. Decisions on applicants are based upon this completed application (including two references) and an interview process.

DATES FOR POSITION: May 18, 2025 – July 26th, 2025 (Mandatory Training/Planning Retreat Tentative on May 19-20)

SALARY: $2500 for the summer, paid every other week. (Also include: Free housing if not from Marietta – we also cover your ministry costs for trips, events, and give you $200 to use for contact expenses with students.
