B.C. Grant Baptist Church in Alto, GA, a Bible-believing Southern Baptist Convention Church affirming the Baptist Faith & Message (2000), is accepting resumes for a Part-Time Youth Pastor. The position will include but is not limited to: Working with 6th-12th grades on Wednesday Nights. Leading/Teaching Youth Sunday School on Sunday mornings. Ability to connect with youth of differing spiritual levels. Responsible for curriculum on Wednesday Nights, and oversight of volunteer workers. Taking the Youth group to one Youth Conference per year. Taking the Youth group on one Mission Trip per year (1-5 days) Youth Minister Qualifications: Must be a born-again believer with personal testimony of commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Have a clear and open calling to serve the Lord in Youth Ministry. Theological perspective that is conservative, and adherent to the inerrancy of the Word of God. Effective communicator, verbal, written, and public speaking. Ability to disciple, equip and empower lay leaders, thus expanding ministry reach and impact. A general knowledge of the Bible is essential. Able to plan, organize, and implement/evaluate youth ministry program. Possess a passion for Evangelism and Outreach. Sensitive to needs and pressures of youth with knowledge of possible solutions. Exhibit ability to lead youth into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This is a paid, part-time position.
