Job Description

Youth Pastor – Connections Community Church  

Connections Community Church, a contemporary non-denominational church just south of Kalamazoo, Michigan, is looking for a full-time youth pastor to add to its church staff.  

Connections Community Church is a growing church that averages 600 in attendance at weekend worship services and routinely has 50 to 60 students in  Sunday Evening youth group meetings. The current full-time youth pastor is moving to a different ministry, and the church is looking for someone who can build on the momentum the church has with the middle school and high school students.

The right candidate will have leadership experience, possess a sound knowledge of the Bible, and demonstrate a spiritual maturity in keeping with senior church leadership as outlined in 1st Timothy 3 and Titus 1.  Youth Pastor would also need to fit well into the staff chemistry and would be able to contribute to staff decisions on the future and well-being of the church.
