Job Description

Youth Pastor – Mount Zion Baptist Church     Mount Zion Baptist Church is located 8 minutes outside historic downotwn Jonesborourgh (the oldest town in Tennessee). MZBC was established in 1922 and is continuing to grow. Mount Zion Baptist Church has a great diveristy of ages represented among out 200+ members, with around 70 under the age of 18. Mount Zion Baptist Church strives to create a welcoming and worshipful environment in our services, and place a heavy emphasis on discipleship and missions locally, nationally, and globally. The Associate/Youth Pastor will provide full-time pastoral leadership along with the Lead Pastor, focusing specifically on the Student and Children Ministries. The Associate Youth Pastor shall faithfully proclaim the Word of God, pray ferverenlty over the church, counsel biblically, and equip the saints to be faithful disciples of Christ. The church is looking for a youth pastor with mindset of serving here for the longterm.
