River View Baptist Church is a growing Southern Baptist church that partners with the Kentucky Baptist Convention and the Nelson Baptist Association. The church is located 25 minutes south of Louisville, KY and we are prayerfully seeking our next Youth Pastor. Our facilities have been remodeled in the last few years and the church family recently approved the construction of an additional building that should be completed in the Fall of 2025.

Qualifications:

· Have a clear gospel testimony

· Meet the basic qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9

· Possess a maturing faith

· Prefer someone with some type of Biblical training but not required

· Be called by the Lord into ministry

· Experience in ministry is preferred

· Background check required

Ministry Description:

· Lead and encourage the youth to attend Sunday worship services.

· Be involved in church Outreach Ministries.

· Build relationships with the youth and their parents and minister to them in times of crisis (hospital visitation, funerals, etc as possible).

· Schedule youth planning meetings as needed to plan youth activities (ministries, camps, mission work, etc.).

· Discuss plans of the Youth Ministry with the pastor for consideration before implementing them.

· Prayerfully plan and lead youth in Bible Study on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

· Lead and encourage the youth to serve in ministries of the church.
