Job Opening: Youth Pastor / Youth Leader

Are you passionate about leading young people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ? Do you have a heart for discipleship, mentoring, and creating a dynamic environment where youth can thrive in their faith? We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Youth Pastor/Youth Leader to join our ministry team!

Position: Youth Pastor / Youth Leader

Location: West Fayetteville Baptist Church, Fayetteville, NC

Status: Part-Time, but will grow to full-time

About the Role:

We desire a Christ-centered, Spirit-led individual excited to invest in students' lives (grades 6–12). The ideal candidate will possess a passion for youth ministry, a gift for building strong relationships, and the ability to create engaging programs that convey biblical truth in relevant and creative ways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the youth ministry.
• Plan and facilitate weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, events, and retreats.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and volunteers.
• Equip and disciple youth to grow in their faith and live out the gospel.
• Collaborate with church leadership to align youth ministry with the church's overall mission.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of youth ministry volunteers.

Qualifications: (please read these carefully before applying)

• A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Experience in youth ministry or related leadership roles (volunteer or paid).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to connect with teens and provide spiritual guidance.
• A heart for discipleship and evangelism.
• Biblical knowledge and sound life application understanding.
• Education in ministry or theology (preferred but not required).
