Job Description:
Redeemer Waco seeks an Assistant or Associate Pastor to serve alongside Senior Pastor Jeff Hatton in ministering to the church's congregants and the Waco community. The main duties associated with this role will be determined by church needs and in consultation with the candidate but would likely involve pastoral oversight of various church ministries such as Sunday School classes, Community Groups, worship liturgy and music, and kids' ministry. Regular teaching and preaching, especially during the summer, would be expected. The hiring committee is open to applications from current Assistant and Associate pastors but would prefer to hire at the Assistant level with the expectation of promotion to Associate as soon as it is appropriate and depending on past experience.

Redeemer Waco exists to reach and renew as many people as possible with the Gospel in Waco and beyond. Founded in 2000, today Redeemer Waco has 359 communing members and regular attendance on Sundays of nearly 300. The church offers ministries for children, youth, and adults, including Sunday School classes, community groups, missions and community outreach. Redeemer Waco is currently experiencing growth, and a building expansion is planned for this summer.
Located in a rapidly growing part of central Texas midway between Dallas and Austin on I-35, the Waco metropolitan area has a population of around 300,000 and is the home of Baylor University, Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia, and a SpaceX facility, among many other attractions.
