Cornerstone International Christian Church in La Puente, CA, CA is currently seeking a full-time assistant pastor.

CICC is located in the heart of La Puente, CA. Though we are primarily a Filipino-American community, our vision is to become a multiplying, multiethnic church reflecting the demographics of our community.

Assistant Pastor

Overview

A committed leader with a love for Jesus, passion for discipleship, edification, and expansion of the kingdom of God through the local church, a zeal for prayer and the Great Commission here and abroad. A minister who can relate well with adults and young people for encouragement and equipping in ministry.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Senior Pastor in carrying out the ministries of preaching, pastoral

care, and leadership development

• Support and help execute the vision of the church

• Help manage and lead the everyday ministries of the church

• Coordinate activities and facilitate church staff under the authority of the Senior Pastor

• Take a lead role in the spiritual formation and discipleship of the members of the church

• Work alongside the Youth and/or children's ministry leaders

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Theological Education, Masters on Divinity preferred

• 2 years of experience in leading small groups (Bible Study, youth, children's ministry)

• Proficient in communications and shows favor in working in teams of diverse ethnicities

• Lifestyle congruent with biblical requirements

• Calling to pastoral ministry
