Riverside Community Church is seeking an entrepreneurial Full-Time Assistant Pastor to lead and expand our Next Gen ministries. This role oversees the existing Youth Group (20+ students) while spearheading the development of two critical areas: a nurturing program for college students (both local and away) and a new ministry for post-college young adults. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader capable of building Christ-centered communities and equipping the next generation for Gospel-centered living.

Established in 1996, RCC is a Non-denominational, Independent English Ministry (EM) church rooted in Reformed theology. Located in Bergen County (20 miles from NYC), we are a family oriented, multi-generational, and multi-ethnic community — primarily English-speaking KoreanAmericans.

Job Description

• Preaching & Teaching: Lead the weekly Youth Group service and periodically preach at the main adult service, and develop College and Young Adults regular programs. Ministry Responsibilities
• Discipleship: Shepherd them through prayer, visitation, and counseling; oversee small groups.
• Leadership: Oversee Youth Sunday School teachers and collaborate with staff and ministry volunteers.
• Program Oversight: Plan and lead Youth weekly Friday Night Fellowships (FNF), summer/winter retreats, and equip the Youth Praise Team and develop similar programs for College and Young Adults.
• Outreach: Engage students in local and global outreach through special events and short-term mission trips.
• Communication: Maintain consistent contact with students and parents via weekly newsletters and offer family counseling as needed.
• Collaboration: Work alongside and assist the Lead Pastor in the broader mission of the church.
