Job Description

Working alongside the Lead Pastor to shepherd the community of Christ City Church, which includes but is not limited to: • Preaching and Teaching at Sunday gatherings, Bible Studies, and in our Christ City Courses. • One on one discipleship of the Christ City community. • Overseeing and executing various classes and courses. • Overseeing and executing local missional and discipleship initiatives. • Raising and equipping leaders within the Christ City community. • Assisting in the development of new ministries and initiatives that support and enhance the mission of Christ City Church.

It is expected that the Associate Pastor will: • Develop a deep, strong, and trusting relationship with the Lead Pastor, working alongside him while under his leadership, for the wellbeing of the church body, the strength of the staff team, and the unity of the eldership. • Be passionate about God's Word and gifted in teaching and preaching in different teaching contexts, including Sunday gatherings. • Work collaboratively with the Pastoral Care Team to serve the acute pastoral needs of the members of Christ City Church. • Work collaboratively with the staff and volunteer teams in tasks that aim at the strengthening and maturing of Christ City Church.
