Associate Pastor Part time or Bi-vocational Associate Pastor position to support the Senior Pastor
First Baptist Church of Winnemucca is currently seeking a qualified man to serve as a bi-vocational Associate Pastor. The Associate Pastor will be expected to serve roughly 20 hours a week supporting the Senior Pastor in various ministries, including but not limited to, discipleship, evangelism, helping the various ministries of the church thrive, and working with and alongside the church's committees and deacons. This position has room for growth as the right man could move into the senior pastor role at some point in the future should both the associate pastor and the church believe it is best. This could serve as a great starting place for the right candidate, having an opportunity to learn and grow with the church.
The church offers the use of a newly remodeled parsonage as housing, provided at no cost. In our community, a comparable home would typically rent for at least $2,000 per month. In addition, the church covers water and trash and will provide an annual salary of $36,000.
