About the RoleWe are seeking an Associate Pastor to serve as a key ministry leader and trusted partner to the Senior Pastor. This role will help shepherd the congregation, support the spiritual and operational needs of the church, and assist in carrying forward the church's mission during this exciting season of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Preach and teach in various settings, including Sunday services, Bible studies, and seminarsProvide pastoral care through visitation, counseling, and member supportServe as a primary support to the Senior Pastor, including preaching and leadership coverage when neededPartner with the Pastor of Administration on church operations in the Senior Pastor's absenceCollaborate with church leadership on vision, strategy, and ministry initiativesLead or assist with special projects that support church growth and engagementQualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree and ordination required3–5+ years of ministry or leadership experienceStrong biblical teaching ability and pastoral heartDisplays consistent moral character and trustworthy leadershipDemonstrated servant leadership and alignment with the church's statement of faithA proactive, team-oriented leader who thrives in a growing environmentDetails
