Grace Bible Fellowship Church is a non-denominational Bible Church focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. As Grace Bible Fellowship Church grows, the need for an Associate/Assistant Pastor has become clearer to the Leadership of the Church. This need is for the purpose of enhancing and helping the Ministry grow. Our dependency is on, and always will be on, the Lord, but He does use people to allow the Church to grow both spiritually and numerically. We must seek God's will in calling an Associate/Assistant Pastor. As we seek God's will, we are confident that He will make it clear to us in which direction we are to go!

Job Description

1. Scriptural Requirements: the man must believe in all the fundamentals of the faith, as found in the Bible, God's Word.
   1. In total agreement with the teachings of God's Word
   2. In total agreement with the doctrinal statement of Grace Bible Fellowship Church
2. Personal Requirements: must be a born again Christian and give clear evidence of a changed life through his personal testimony and his commitment to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
   1. A clear statement of his personal testimony
   2. A clear statement of his call to the ministry
3. Meet the scriptural requirements for a Pastor/Elder:
   1. 1 Timothy 3:1-7
   2. Titus 1:5-9
   3. 1 Peter 5:1-4
4. Family Requirements: If the man is married, his wife must be in total agreement with the calling of her husband to the ministry and to Grace Bible Fellowship Church.
   1. His wife must be a committed believer in Jesus Christ
   2. His children must be in subjection/obedient to the family
5. Ministry Requirements: the man must be fully supportive of the ministry of Grace Bible Fellowship Church.
   1. He must be in total agreement with the By-laws and Doctrinal Statement of Grace Bible Fellowship Church
   2. The man must have a Biblical view of the local church and be a strong supporter of the local church ministries
   3. He must become a member (and, if married, his Wife as well) of Grace Bible Fellowship Church
   4. He must be in total agreement with the ministry philosophy of Grace Bible Fellowship Church
   5. He must be in total agreement with the Ministry Guidelines of Grace Bible Fellowship Church
   6. The man is expected to be in attendance at all Worship Services, Prayer Meetings, Meetings, and other activities as required by the Senior Pastor
6. Educational Requirements: The man should have at least a Bible College and/or Christian College degree and/or have an excellent working knowledge of the Bible with appropriate experience in the Ministry.
   1. The man should be an Ordained Minister according to the requirements of Grace Bible Fellowship Church.
   2. If the man is not an Ordained Minister, an Ordination Council should be called by Grace Bible Fellowship Church within six months of the man being called to the church.
7. Ministry Responsibilities: The man will be responsible to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and under the direction of the Senior Pastor. He will also be under the secondary direction of the Elder/Deacon Board. He will be expected to:
   1. Share in the Worship Services and Prayer Meeting
      1. Depending on his gifted areas of ministry: music, etc.
      2. Preach and/or Teach when asked
   2. Oversee the Educational Ministries of Grace Bible Fellowship Church
      1. Sunday School
      2. Children's Ministry
      3. Teen Ministry
      4. Daily Vacation Bible School
   3. Oversee the outreach Ministries
      1. Local Nursing Home Ministries
      2. Visitation and Evangelism
      3. Other Opportunities as they are available
