Associate Pastor/Minister to Students

Highland Park Baptist Church is currently seeking a full-time Associate Pastor with a primary focus on Student Ministry.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. To work under the authority of the Pastor to formulate and implement a program designed to challenge students to grow in their relationships with Christ, heir families, each other, and the church body.

2. To provide opportunities for and challenge students to engage in Christian service.

3. To provide a good example and guidance to students and their families as they grow in Christ and navigate through their teen years.

4. To recruit and effectively lead a group of adults to assist him in the Student Ministry.

5. To annually present the finance team with the financial requirements of the Student Ministry and to work within the budget provide by the Church for the Student Ministry.

6. To assist the pastor in other areas, such as being available to preach and minister in the pastor's absence.

7. It is expected that the Minster to Students will devote a minimum of forty hours a week to the Ministry the church.

8. It is further expected that the Minster to Students and his family be supportive of the overall mission and direction of the church.
