Position: Associate Pastor of Community Groups, Ministries, & Assimilation (Full-Time, Salary: Competitive, + Benefits)

The Associate Pastor of Community Groups and Assimilation advances the mission of Real Life by working in partnership with and under the direction of the Executive Pastor to lead Community Groups, Ministries, and Assimilation.

Community Groups

• Create and execute an annual ministry plan for Community Groups & Summer Studies.
• Recruit, equip, and support Community Group leaders to host and facilitate their groups well.
• Recruit, equip, and support Summer Study leaders to teach and lead.
• Develop and maintain systems for launching new groups to ensure healthy growth and multiplication.
• Ensure effective assimilation of people into both Community Groups & Summer Studies.

Ministries

• Partner with ministry leaders to equip and empower them for greater effectiveness in serving their teams and participants (Parking, hospitality, baptism, 7 minute party, safety, bookstore, welcome, worship hosts, worship count, next steps, photography, and Lord's Supper).
• Ensure all ministry teams are fully staffed, supported, and thriving by providing oversight, coaching, recruiting, training, communication, and encouragement.
• Ensure alignment of ministries with the mission, vision, and values of Real Life.

Assimilation

• Responsible for the disciplined building & execution of all Assimilation Processes, ensuring guests move seamlessly from first-time visitors to fully engaged members of Real Life..
• Responsible for the oversight of The Path, including all volunteers necessary for execution, coordinating scheduling, teaching, and volunteer teams.
• Maintain systems for guest follow-up, new believer follow-up, and volunteer onboarding.
