Associate Pastor of Next Generation and Outreach

Job Summary:First Baptist Church of Oak Island is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Next Generation and Outreach. We are looking for a biblically qualified, gospel-centered man who has a passion for evangelism, discipleship, preaching, and pastoral leadership. This pastor will help lead ministry to children, students, college-age young adults, and young families, while also strengthening outreach and assisting in the overall leadership and administration of the church.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading next generation ministries
• Reaching children, students, college-age young adults, and families with the gospel
• Strengthening outreach and evangelistic efforts
• Recruiting and equipping volunteers and leaders
• Preaching and teaching as needed
• Assisting the senior pastor with pastoral and administrative leadership

Qualifications:

• Clear testimony of salvation and call to pastoral ministry
• Meets the biblical qualifications for a pastor
• Committed to the authority of Scripture and sound doctrine
• Strong heart for evangelism and disciple-making
• Able to preach and teach God's Word faithfully
• Demonstrates relational warmth, humility, initiative, and leadership maturity
