Associate Pastor of Youth and Children

Morgan Chapel Baptist Church is a growing church of about 200 in worship in Sturgis, MS (approx. 20 minutes from Starkville). We are a younger congregation with about two-thirds of our worship attendance under 45 years old. We have a strong ministry to youth and children averaging above 70 participants on Wednesday evenings. Our parents and families are committed and faithful in serving the Lord and His church here at Morgan Chapel.

We are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Youth and Children to serve in three primary ways. First, his primary responsibility would be in leading and serving our ministry to youth (7th-12th grade) alongside our current volunteer leadership and parents. Second, he would be a resource and help for our children's ministry (birth-6th grade) leadership and volunteers. Finally, he would be responsible for assisting the pastor in general pastoral care and leadership of the congregation as a whole.
