Job Overview
We are seeking a man called by God and biblically qualified according to 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–7, who is prepared to step into a full-time pastoral role as Associate Pastor of Youth. This shepherd will have a deep love for Christ and His church, and a passionate heart to teach and disciple our youth—grades six through college age—to know the Scriptures, love the Lord, and live as faithful ambassadors of His kingdom (Matthew 28:18–20; 1 Timothy 4:12; 2 Timothy 2:22). Serving under the leadership of the Lead Pastor, he will provide spiritual oversight and direction to the youth ministry, equipping students through the faithful teaching of the whole counsel of God and fostering a culture of evangelism and disciple-making (Ephesians 4:11–13). This role includes shepherding youth and their families, training and mobilizing volunteers, coordinating weekly gatherings, retreats, and curriculum, and supporting the broader mission of the church—all with the aim of raising up a generation grounded in truth and committed to Christ.

Job Description for Associate Pastor of Youth
The Youth Pastor is responsible for giving direction to the overall Bible education and activities for the ministry of grades six through twelve, and college age people to promote biblical evangelism and discipleship by planning, promoting, coordinating, conducting and evaluating the youth program of the church.
Ministry Purpose: To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the whole counsel of God, to seek to make disciples who make disciples, and to implement the planning and the administrative aspects of the Youth and College age Ministry.
Role and Accountability: The Youth Pastor is under the accountability and direction of the Lead Pastor.
Primary Functions of the Youth Pastor:
- Provide pastoral leadership for the youth ministry and their families.
- Coordinate the enlisting, discipling, and training of adults to serve in youth ministry.
- Coordinate the weekly youth education organization.
- Coordinate and direct periodic camps and retreats.
- Coordinate an overall youth curriculum plan for the youth ministry.
- Coordinate and implement an annual youth ministry budget proposal, and administer that budget as approved by the elders.
- Assist with youth leadership in providing opportunities for members of the youth ministry and staff to be directly involved in missions and ministry – both locally and outside the community.
- Share the gospel with lost youth/students and lost parents on an ongoing basis, both individually and corporately.
- Contribute in service and in leadership to the overall mission and ministry of The Bridge Church.
