Laurel Hill Baptist Church is seeking a biblically qualified Associate Pastor – Students to lead LHBC's ministry focus to students from kindergarten through college age, with a special focus on our Middle and High School students. As a fellow Elder/Pastor of LHBC, the Associate Pastor – Students will also support the ministry of LHBC by working alongside the Senior Pastor to minister to the broader church family. The Associate Pastor – Students' primary responsibilities are to equip and lead volunteer teams for children and youth ministries, partner with and resource parents in the discipleship of their children, and develop and implement a plan to raise up disciples in the next generation in our church and community. Qualifications
Meets the character and leadership qualifications for pastors/elders described in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Peter 5:1–4).Life: A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a life marked by spiritual maturity, integrity, and humility.Doctrine: Wholehearted alignment with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, The Danvers Statement, & The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.Education: Undergraduate degree. Preferably with some theological training.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relational skillsExperience: Preferably some church staff experience
