Associate Pastor with Specialization in Youth Ministry

Gateway Church is seeking a passionate, biblically grounded, and servant-hearted Associate Pastor to join our ministry team. The Associate Pastor will support the Senior Pastor in providing congressional spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and leading the Youth Ministry. This role must be grounded in the authority of Scripture, abiding by the church's mission statement "To know Christ and make Him known."

Key Responsibilities:

• Youth Ministry Leader: Leading Youth Ministry: Additionally, partnering in oversight of Family and Young Adult Ministries.

• Preaching: Bi-monthly rotation and as needed.

• Collaboration: Working with the Senior Pastor, fellow elders, deacons and ministry leaders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, Theology, Ministry or a closely related field from an accredited institution; preferred. A willingness to continue in higher education (in related field).

• Experience: At least 1 year of ministry experience (can include pastoral roles, youth ministry, discipleship, preaching, or other church leadership experience). Recent seminary graduates with relevant internship or volunteer ministry experience are encouraged to apply.

• Calling & Character: Must have a clear sense of God's call to vocational ministry with a passion for youth, young adults and families.

• Affirm and uphold Gateway Church's Statement of Faith and the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

• Exhibit strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven ability to take initiative and deliver results independently.

• Preferably married.
