Emmanuel Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational Senior Pastor who is called by God to lead and direct our elders and congregation in biblical teaching, spiritual growth, and gospel outreach. We are a small but faithful body of believers desiring a shepherd who will guide us through the next chapter of our ministry with humility, wisdom, and a servant's heart.

Qualifications:

• Affiliation with the Southern Baptist Convention
• Full agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Committed to believer's baptism by immersion
• Ordination is required
• A clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ
• A vital and growing relationship with Christ
• Demonstrates ability to balance ministry responsibilities with a bi-vocational role
• Proven experience in:
  • Preaching and teaching God's Word
  • Ministerial leadership
  • Pastoral care and discipleship

Position Roles/Amenities:Being the Senior Pastor will involve working with the other elders in accomplishing the church ministries. It is expected the Senior Pastor will fill the pulpit with the support of the other elders as needed. Compensation is negotiable which can be allocated toward a combinations of these benefits – salary, housing, medical, retirement.

Our church family consists of approximately 65–75 worshipers on Sunday mornings, with an active Sunday School ministry and a worship service focused on expository preaching and reverent worship. In addition to our Sunday gatherings, we host a midweek Wednesday evening ministry, which includes a shared meal followed by discipleship classes for children, youth, and adults.
