The youth pastor will play a crucial role in shaping the spiritual journeys of our teens, helping them develop a deep, personal relationship with God. Responsibilities will include designing and executing engaging programs and activities that cater to various interests, such as Bible studies, retreats, and community service projects. This role also involves mentoring individual youth, providing guidance, and offering a listening ear as they navigate life's challenges.

Role and Responsibilities
The Youth Pastor will be responsible for:
– Delivering strong biblical teachings and training to youth in grades 6 through 12.
– Maintaining a primary work schedule that includes Sunday morning worship and Wednesday evening Bible study.
– Adjusting hours as needed for additional activities.
– Planning and conducting outside youth activities, aiming for quarterly events and outings.
– Proclaiming the Gospel to both believers and non-believers within the youth department. The church currently utilizes the Lifeway curriculum.
– Working under the supervision of the Pastor and the Deacon body.
– Serving as a spiritual leader for our church community.
Qualifications
– Devout Christian and active member of a Baptist church
– Previous experience working with youth
– Proficient in coaching and counseling young people
– Capable of passing a background check
– Possesses a Tennessee driver's license
– Committed to nurturing youth in their faith in Christ
