Bilingual Outreach Pastor

FAITH CHURCH Rio Rancho, NM Full-time

Job Overview

We are a multi-generational English-speaking church, located in a community with a number of Spanish-speaking families. 3 years ago we initiated a Spanish-speaking ministry to help evangelize and disciple the Spanish speakers in our area. We see a great need in our community for continuing outreach to both English and Spanish speakers.

This role intends to blend two crucial outreach components within our church. First, the Outreach Pastor will be responsible to oversee outreach ministry and activities of the church. Second, as this requires a bi-lingual leader, the Outreach Pastor will also oversee and facilitate the Spanish Ministry.

We have worked to integrate the Spanish ministry into our church while understanding the need for certain ministries to be available in Spanish. We currently have a Spanish-speaking Bible study and discipleship available in Spanish. We also offer translation of the Sunday morning service into Spanish. Our vision is to minister to first generation Spanish only speakers, while allowing second and third generation family members to be more integrated into our English ministries.

The Outreach Pastor will join our current pastoral team as one of the Associate Pastors. He will oversee outreach and serve as the primary shepherd for the Spanish ministry.
