Campus Pastor

Reports to: Lead Pastor

Position: Full-Time/On-Site

Location: Lubbock, TX – South Campus

Redeemer Church is stepping into a multisite future, and we are looking for a Campus Pastor who can shepherd a congregation, preach the gospel with clarity and conviction, and keep us moving as one church in two locations. This role sits in that sweet spot between hands-on pastoring and aligned leadership, deeply invested in people and fully connected to the vision set by our elders and the strategic team.

You're a shepherd at heart who loves people, loves the local church, and loves seeing disciples made. You preach the gospel clearly, lead with humility, and work joyfully within shared leadership. You don't need the spotlight to feel meaningful—and you know that long-term faithfulness matters more than short-term wins. You're energized by collaboration, alignment, and sending—not building your own thing, but building the church.

What You'll Do

Preach & Teach

● Regular preaching at the South Campus; occasional preaching at Elgin. T each in classes, trainings, and midweek environments.

● Work closely with the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastors to maintain theological clarity, tone, and Redeemer's preaching philosophy.

Pastor the Campus

● Build meaningful relationships, provide pastoral care, officiate weddings and funerals, and maintain a visible, approachable presence.

Champion Culture & Unity

● Carry Redeemer's values, protect unity across campuses, and model "one church in two locations."

● Stay closely aligned with the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastors in doctrine, leadership posture, and decision-making.

Lead & Execute

● Lead and develop campus staff and ministry leaders; ensure a healthy team culture and strong weekend execution.

● Partner with central teams (worship, kids, operations, send, etc.) to keep the campus resourced and aligned while executing direction set by the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastors.

● Theologically grounded, emotionally intelligent, and humble.

● Joyfully aligned with Redeemer's mission, theology, and disciple-making rhythms.

● Comfortable leading under authority without losing initiative.

● Energized by collaboration and long-term faithfulness over platform or spotlight.
