Job Overview

We are seeking a children's director who will be able to work under the family pastor to accomplish the vision of the Family Team in children's ministry. The candidate should have a deep love for God, a passion for working with families of young kids, and the ability to coordinate volunteers and classrooms on a large scale. This person must work well in a team, be able to lead the children's coordinators and adult volunteers, and connect well with families. Our desire is someone who has a bachelor's degree in a ministry-related field or equivalent experience. Previous children's ministry experience of at least three years is desired.

Job Description

West Side Church is looking for a children's director who will work under the family pastor to direct our children's ministries. The children's director has oversight over all children's programs. Running the program includes recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers and being the direct report for the early childhood and elementary coordinators. The children's director will be part of the Family Team, working alongside the family pastor and youth director to provide a unified approach for discipling families at West Side Church
