Job Title: Children's MinisterPosition SummaryThe Children's Minister is responsible for leading, organizing, and nurturing a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered ministry for children from Pre-K through 5th grade. This role supports the spiritual growth of children while partnering with families, volunteers, and church leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, and lead weekly children's ministry programs for Pre-K through 5th gradeDevelop age-appropriate curriculum and activities that encourage spiritual growthRecruit, train, and support volunteers serving in children's ministryMaintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized environment for all childrenCommunicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and church staffEnsure consistent attendance, check-in procedures, and classroom organizationOrganize and participate in special events, seasonal programs, and church-wide activitiesModel Christ-like character and servant leadership

QualificationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailDependable, committed, and reliable in attendance and follow-throughExperience in children's ministry or working with children preferredAbility to lead and encourage volunteersPassion for serving children and familiesAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamAgreement with the church's mission, values, and statement of faith
