Job Description

As a Children's Ministry Apprentice in the Redeemer Apprenticeship for Ministry Program (RAMP), you will gain hands‑on experience serving alongside the Children's Ministry team and staff, helping build gospel‑centered environments where children learn about Jesus and discipleship is practiced in the next generation. This role is designed for a Christian college student or recent graduate discerning a possible vocational calling in ministry with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading age‑appropriate Sunday programs, curriculum, and activities for nursery, preschool, and elementary children under supervision.
• Support volunteers, help train and care for ministry teams, and ensure a welcoming and safe environment for families.
• Participate weekly in RAMP cohort, coaching, and coursework while apprenticing in Children's Ministry.
• Engage relationally with families, encourage spiritual growth, and help foster gospel conversations with kids.
• Assist with special events, outreach activities, and family ministry initiatives throughout the church calendar.

Qualifications

• Active follower of Jesus with a desire to grow in ministry and serve children and families.
• Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate from an accredited college or university.
• Recommended by your church and willing to participate in Redeemer's RAMP discipleship and training structure.
• Warm relational skills, creativity, and a heart for teaching and care.
