Children’s Ministry Associate
Job Overview
This role is an integral part of the Family Ministry at FFBC. The Children's Ministry Associate will be responsible the carrying out the ministry activities for FFBC Kids. They will be committed to reaching, teaching, and equipping children and families to be disciples of Jesus Christ. They will engage families and children in relationships and be a voice of encouragement for evangelism of kids and parent equipping. This role will also be responsible for Sunday and Wednesday programming for FFBC Kids.

Job Responsibilities
The Children's Ministry Associate is responsible to perform specific and general tasks related to the planning, administration, and execution of all children's ministry activities.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a ministry plan for FFBC Kids
- Communicate with and involve volunteers and parents in ministry activities, with particular attention to activities for K-5th
- Build relationships and serve as a point of contact for parents in their ministry area.
- Plan and coordinate effective kids ministry activities for Sunday morning, midweek, and all other church-wide services and functions, including, but not limited to, Kids Kamp, Vacation Bible School, Wee Worship
- Be a resource to the Weekday Education program as opportunities to partner for outreach and equipping arise.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Provide creative support for promotional materials, curriculum, newsletters, etc.
- Manage all resources and supplies for the ministry area.
- Order, organize, distribute, and support curriculum used by FFBC.
- Ensure that child protection policies for FFBC, including oversight and maintenance of the electronic check-in system, are kept by all volunteers and participants in the ministry.
- Adherence to all policies and procedures outlined in the Personnel Policy Manual.
- Accomplish other duties as may be assigned by Senior Pastor or supervisor.

This is a general statement of job responsibilities and duties; however, the Children's Ministry Associate is expected to perform other duties as required to support the core mission and ministries of Fayetteville First Baptist Church ministry to families and children.
Education and Experience:
The person in this position should be actively growing in a personal walk of faith in Jesus Christ as exemplified in daily spiritual disciplines, a regular personal witness, and a life of service both in the church and community. Preference given to seminary students/graduates or graduates of an undergraduate program in Christian ministry or theology (or similar). Holds to Baptist convictions set forth in the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
