Position Summary

Victory City Church is seeking an experienced Kids Pastor to lead and build a dynamic ministry for 200+ children (birth–5th grade) each weekend. This individual will provide vision, leadership, and systems to ensure that every child and family is discipled through a Spirit-led, Bible-centered environment.

This is not a classroom management role — this is a leadership position responsible for developing volunteer teams, equipping parents, building scalable systems, and aligning children's ministry with the overall discipleship strategy of the church.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership for all Kids Ministry environments (Birth–5th Grade)

• Recruit, train, and shepherd a large volunteer Dream Team

• Build and oversee systems for volunteer onboarding, discipleship pathways, family engagement, and child salvation & Spirit-baptism moments

• Develop engaging, age-appropriate, Pentecostal curriculum environments

• Partner with parents to equip them as primary spiritual leaders in the home

• Ensure safe, secure, and excellent ministry environments

• Collaborate with Executive and NextGen leadership teams

• Develop future leaders within Kids Ministry

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading Children's Ministry in a church of 500+

• Experience leading volunteer teams of 50+ preferred

• Proven track record of ministry growth and team development

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Passion for Spirit-filled ministry in the next generation

• Excellent communication and relational abilities

Education & Credentials

• Bachelor's Degree required (Ministry/Theology preferred)

• Master's Degree a plus

• Must hold or be willing to obtain Assemblies of God credentials
