Communications Operations/Project Coordinator Internship

Position Summary

This position is the operational backbone of the Brookstone Church Communications department, bringing order to initiatives, protecting team capacity, and ensuring every project moves from request to

completion with excellence.

Core Responsibilities

Workflow & Project Oversight

• Review incoming requests, ensure briefs are complete, and assign appropriate priority levels• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and close out projects properly• Provide a weekly team status summary and project updates• Proactively follow up with ministries to maintain momentum and clarity• Coordinate with vendors for purchases, signage, apparel, and promotional materials• Oversee timelines and production logistics with external partners

Platform & Systems Management

• Maintain Communications platforms (Basecamp, Clearstream, Mailchimp, etc.) for cleanliness• Upload simple website updates and quick edits as needed• Manage tagging photos in Capture Collab• Fill in templated graphics (pre-roll, registration banners, etc.)• Ensure all physical assets are produced accurately and on time

Team & Operational Support

• Execute task assignments as directed by the Communications Director and ensure follow-through• Social Host one Sunday a month• Proofing copy on projects• Providing assistance at Brookstone's Enka campus for photography (remaining on the photographer serve team)

Schedule

This position can typically expect to work 15 hours per week. Internship duration will be from August 10th-December 7th.

Stipend

This position will receive a $2000 stipend that covers the internship time frame.
