First Reformed Church is seeking someone to lead and expand our youth and family ministry. You will lead a group of dedicated individuals that have a deep commitment to this effort. The youth program is established, ministering to community youth from all denominational backgrounds, but the position itself will be new, so there will be flexibility for this leader to expand into other areas. We're not only concerned about our growth; we're concerned about yours too.

Job Description
First Reformed Church is a Christ-centered, family-oriented congregation rooted in the Reformed understanding of Scripture. We are seeking a Director/Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Ministries who can build meaningful relationships across all ages—especially with youth—and who demonstrates a deep, personal walk with Christ. The ideal candidate will be excited to grow in their own faith while actively discipling others and engaging with the broader community.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- A heart for ministry and a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Alignment with the Reformed understanding of Scripture and theology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with youth and families
- Experience leading youth ministry programs, events, or discipleship initiatives
- Ability to teach and communicate biblical truth in engaging, age-appropriate ways
- Organizational skills for planning and executing ministry activities
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
- Ability to engage with the broader community and represent the church outside its walls
- A creative and flexible approach to ministry, with a willingness to think outside the bo
