Bemidji Covenant Church is seeking a full-time Director of Kids Ministry to lead and grow our ministry to children from newborn through 5th grade. This role focuses on building strong volunteer teams, creating engaging programs, and partnering with families to help kids know and follow Jesus.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop volunteer teams for Sunday, Wednesday, and special events.
• Oversee weekly kids' programs, curriculum, and ministry systems (check-in, communication, supplies, etc.).
• Provide a safe, welcoming, spiritually formative environment for kids and families.
• Collaborate with church staff, especially the Kids and Student Ministry teams.
• Manage ministry calendar, events, and annual budget.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents, leaders, and staff.

Qualifications

• A growing relationship with Jesus and a love for children and families.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to recruit, train, and encourage volunteers.
• Team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
• Experience in children's or family ministry preferred.
• Supports the theology and mission of Bemidji Covenant Church and the ECC.
