Director of Worship and Administration - Apostles Brooklyn

Apostles Church Brooklyn Brooklyn Full-time

Apostles Church Brooklyn exists to love Brooklyn with the good news of Jesus Christ. We envision a renewed Brooklyn where people are able to find their identity in God’s transformative love displayed in Jesus Christ, a community where love replaces indifference, generosity replaces self-interest and authentic community replaces isolation. Our Director of Worship and Administration furthers this vision by leading us in musical worship and coordinating the administrative logistics of the life of our church.

Demonstrated qualities are to be a Scripture-based servant leader who is dedicated to the Great Commission, a strategic thinker, organized, detail-oriented, teachable, humble, honest, and encouraging. Our Director of Worship and Administration must be able to draw near to God’s throne through music, and to help others do so as well. It is important for them to be able to understand emotional health and how it has shaped their way of relating in the world.

Preferred skills/experience include musical gifting to sing and play an instrument, project management abilities and event planning capacity. Proven ability to provide administrative oversight and to manage details and teams of volunteers; including coordinating all written communications for the church and overseeing scheduling of weekly volunteers for Sunday service. Works well as a self-starter in a collaborative team environment.
