Job Overview
The Discipleship Pastor will oversee all adult discipleship efforts and small group ministries at West Bridge Church. This person will also serve as the staff point person for Men's Ministry, Soul Care Ministry, 60+ Ministry, and assist with other pastoral duties (funerals, weddings, care, counseling) as necessary.
Job Description
Small Group Ministry (40%)
-Provide vision and strategy to help it continue to thrive.
-Recruit and equip a team of small group volunteers.
-Develop annual goals consistent with our mission/vision.
Teaching/Preaching (40%)
-Teach and/or train other teachers 35+ weekends a year.
-Oversee adult teaching environments (scope/sequence).
-Share preaching repsonsbility (3-4 times a year)
-Lead Rooted Class Staff Point for Ministry Teams (20%)
-Men's Ministry -60+ Ministry -Soul Care Ministry -Young Adult Ministry Discipleship Systems -Work closely with Kids/Youth/Adult ministries to ensure a comprehensive discipleship strategy continues.
Reporting Relationship -The Discipleship Pastor reports directly to the Lead Pastor and works closely with church staff, elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers.
