Job Overview
General Description
To provide the Executive Vice President of Churches (EVP) with administrative, communication, and organizational support in executing his duties. To provide similar support to Regional Directors as directed by EVP. And to coordinate and collaborate with other administrative assistants and coordinators across Acts 29.
General Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the EVP across all aspects of his work.
- Represent EVP by responding to emails, calls, and messages promptly, professionally, and courteously.
- Manage the EVP's calendar, appointments, and scheduling needs.
- Arrange travel and manage itineraries, memberships, and preferences.
- Coordinate and resolve issues with the EVP's direct reports on his behalf.
- Plan and coordinate projects as requested.
- Respond to messages from the EVP outside regular working hours as needed.
- Initiate daily communication with EVP to keep him completely up to date on multiple areas of oversight.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Effectively ensure select Acts 29 Regional Directors have adequate administrative support by performing or delegating tasks such as coordinating travel, preparing meeting documents, and managing ongoing projects.
- Coordinate events and gatherings for the EVP as requested.
- Build relationships and facilitate collaboration with the EAs of external partners and internal team members.
Goals
- For the EVP to be freed to spend 2/3 of his time in deep work.
- For the EVP to be freed to focus on three primary priorities: deep work, high-level leadership, and global opportunities.
- For the EVP to spend little to no time handling email issues and meeting requests.
- For the EVP to spend little to no time on details or minor conflicts.
- For things to be distributed among Acts 29 team members as necessary.
- For all of the details of the EVP's travel, expenses, meetings, and calendars to be handled.
- For the Acts 29 Regional Directors, Hub Church, and Cohorts to be administered professionally.

Standard Requirements
- Travel: Overnight travel required at times.
- Policies: Must adhere to Acts 29's Handbook, Statement of Faith, Information Security Policy, and any additional policies required of Acts 29 staff.
- Equipment: Must return any Acts 29-purchased equipment upon termination.
- Support: Must utilize Acts 29's data, financial, and communication policies systems for Acts 29 operations.
