  • An opportunity for shared leadership. Perhaps you don't feel called to be a Senior Pastor, but you do have the experience, gifting, and desire to make a significant impact at a senior leadership level within a healthy local church. If that's you, this role may be a great fit. This is an opportunity to come alongside a Lead Pastor, share leadership, and help move vision into reality.
  • An incredible city you will love. There is so much to love about living in Raleigh! Especially the people! Wake County is 1.3 diverse million people and the Research Triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is 2.5 million people). Raleigh is one of the fastest growing and most educated cities in America, and the capital of North Carolina. The city offers an international airport, a thriving downtown, world-renowned hospitals, excellent food and culture, multiple universities, and strong theological training nearby. Raleigh is just 2 hours from the Blue Ridge mountains and two hours from the Carolina beaches. Raleigh is also one of the best places to raise a family, with great schools, parks, museums, and a relatively reasonable cost of living.
  • A city with real spiritual needs to meet. Raleigh is not perfect. There is real work to be done. Despite the number of church buildings in the area, an estimated 75% of people in Raleigh do not regularly attend a Bible-believing church. Parachurch ministries (e.g., BSF, Cru, etc.) are strong here—often filling gaps where the local church has been weak, lacking clarity, Biblically orthodox conviction, or engagement. A majority of churches remain racially divided, falling short of reflecting the Gospel's vision of a unified, multi-ethnic family of God. A growing secular and unchurched population is often reached either by theologically progressive churches that drift from and deny biblical authority, or by rigid and Bible-policing expressions of the church. This dynamic can obscure the beauty of Jesus and the truth of the Gospel for those who most need to see it clearly. Fellowship Raleigh has a legacy of faithfulness, a strategic location, and a clear vision to engage these realities.

  3. Community Group and Discipleship Group ministries measurably growing and structured
