Full-Time Pastor

Midway Heights Baptist Church, a faithful congregation of 80 active members located just west of Columbia, Missouri, is seeking a full-time Pastor to shepherd, teach, and mentor our body in the faith.

The Ideal Candidate

Doctrinal Conviction:

• Must be a born-again believer who affirms the Bible as the inerrant and Holy Word of God.

Biblical Character:

• Must meet the qualifications of an overseer as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9.

Effective Communicator:

• Able to preach and teach Biblical truths to a multi-generational congregation with diverse backgrounds.

Servant Leadership:

• Possesses a leader's vision paired with a servant's heart; able to develop spiritual leaders and guide the church body.

Mission-Minded:

• Demonstrates a compassionate heart for the local community and the unsaved world, actively promoting the participation of Midway Heights in local and global missions.

Engaged Shepherd:

• Supportive of all church-sponsored ministries, programs, and activities.
