Generosity Manager

What you'll do

Multi-Year Financial & Fundraising Strategy

  • Partner with the Director of Stewardship & New Initiatives to develop a 3–5 year financial and fundraising strategy.
  • Align generosity initiatives with church vision, expansion plans, capital needs, and new ventures.
  • Assist in forecasting giving growth and planning campaigns accordingly.
  • Ensure giving strategy is integrated into overall discipleship and church communication rhythms.

Giver Categorization & Movement Strategy

  • Categorize givers into defined levels and develop measurable goals for movement between levels
  • Create targeted strategies, a communication plan, pastoral touchpoints and events tailored to each stage through the lens of discipleship resulting in spiritual growth in generosity across the church.
  • Develop reporting systems to track movement and effectiveness.

Annual Discipleship Plan for Givers

  • Help create a structured generosity discipleship pathway that intentionally moves members toward mature, joyful, and mission driven giving.
  • Create, plan, coordinate, and execute teaching rhythms, testimony campaigns, vision gatherings, generosity dinners or small group events, personal follow-up and shepherding touch points

Strategic Engagement & Major Fundraiser Oversight

  • Help oversee logistics, communications, and follow-up for capital campaigns, special fundraising initiatives, strategic gatherings and outings, cultivation meetings, and major one-time giving pushes
  • Act as the point person and coordinator for all materials, timelines, pledge tracking, and reporting related to said events
  • Develop relational touch points for major givers and prospective givers.
  • Ensure campaigns align with the broader discipleship strategy.

Entity Fundraising Support

  • Work alongside the Director of Stewardship & New Initiatives and affiliated ministries such as ATL Student Life, Terminus, Resurgence, and other future entities.
  • Assist in donor strategy and fundraising plans by coordinating campaign support, providing systems, communication frameworks, and event support.
  • Helping align each entity's fundraising with overall Christ Covenant generosity philosophy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (B.A.) degree
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills.
  • Deep conviction about biblical generosity.
  • Strong interpersonal and relational capacity.
  • Comfortable with data, reporting, and donor segmentation.
  • Able to operate with discretion and pastoral sensitivity.
  • Excited about growth, expansion, and multi-entity strategy.
  • Fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector
