Groups Minister

QUALIFICATIONS

• Meets the biblical qualifications
• Strong, exemplary marriage
• Seminary training and 6+ years of ministry or marketplace experience preferred
• Must be a proven and strong leader and developer of leaders
• Ability to work on multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with little supervision
• Commitment to and agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Maintain regular office hours and be on-the-job 50 plus hours per week
• Committed to life-long learning. Humble and hungry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Launch a church wide community group (CG) ministry from scratch.
• Recruit, equip, and encourage CG leaders.
• Build layers of leadership – a multiplier of leaders who equip leaders.
• Launch Reengage and Merge Marriage Ministries
• Recruit, equip, and encourage Reengage and Merge leaders.
• Build out various ministry teams as needed (Welcome, Ushers, Parking,
  Assimilation, etc.)
• Do the work of ministry: preach, teach, disciple, counsel, train, marry, bury, etc.
• Regularly disciple church members and train them to disciple others.
• Help build out a Residency/Internship program to develop leaders.
• Assist the Lead Pastor as needs arise and available to perform other duties as
  assigned by the elders.
