Union Hill Baptist Church is a growing rural church in central Oklahoma, averaging 210–250 in weekly attendance, seeking a full-time Kids' Pastor to build and lead a thriving children's ministry (birth–5th grade). This is a unique opportunity to create and shape a gospel-centered ministry from the ground up.

We are looking for a strong biblical teacher and self-motivated leader who will joyfully disciple children, equip volunteers, and partner closely with parents.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all children's ministry areas (nursery through 5th grade)
• Teach regularly and ensure clear, age-appropriate gospel presentation
• Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers
• Oversee Sunday mornings, midweek programming, and special events (including VBS)
• Develop safe, organized, and engaging ministry environments
• Equip and partner with parents
• Help children live out our church motto: REACH UP to know God, REACH IN to build community, REACH OUT to love like Jesus

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to Scripture and ability to teach sound doctrine
• Full agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message
• Ministry degree preferred
• Experience in children's ministry required
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated, relational, and able to build ministry systems
• Willing to become an active member of Union Hill Baptist Church
• This pastor will be expected to REACH IN by investing deeply in our church family, building meaningful relationships, and serving alongside our leadership team.
