Position SummaryFellowship Church Rose Hill is seeking a Christ centered, Spirit led Pastor to shepherd the congregation and lead our disciple making mission. The ideal candidate will faithfully preach and teach God's Word, shepherd people with care, and equip the church for intentional spiritual growth and gospel engagement. This pastor will help cultivate a church culture shaped by worship, community, spiritual growth, and gospel mission while encouraging the church to live sent in Rose Hill and beyond for the glory of God.

Key Responsibilities

• Preaching & Teaching: Communicate Scripture with doctrinal clarity, modeling sound interpretation and handling the text accurately for faithful application.
• Discipleship & Equipping: Develop a culture of spiritual growth through training and equipping members for ministry and service.
• Evangelism & Community Engagement: Lead the church in local outreach and build intentional relationships within the community.
• Ministry Oversight: Provide leadership and administrative oversight for all church ministries, staff, and volunteer teams.
• Vision & Strategic Leadership: Articulate a clear spiritual direction and lead the congregation in executing the church's mission.
• Pastoral Care: Provide compassionate care, biblical counseling, and support to members in times of need.

Qualifications

• Biblical Character: Must meet the scriptural qualifications for an overseer as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• Theological Alignment: Full agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.Local Presence: A commitment to reside within the local community to foster authentic relationships and ministry impact.
• Education Experience Preferred: A Master's degree from an accredited seminary, or equivalent pastoral experience.
